WS Ireland 10year Anniversary

 Attended with my WS brother Magic Mike the 10 year anniversary of WS Ireland in what turned out to be a very sunny Belfast.  After a great ride from Carlisle to Cairnryan, the ferry beckoned, but not before a well needed coffee.  The crossing was flat calm and on the boat we met with some fellow WS who had travelled over from Denmark. 20 of them in total.  Arriving at Belfast ferry terminal, we were met my members of the WS Ireland chapter who took us on a lovely tour of the sights, before getting us to the camp ground for the weekend.  Having signed in, it was time to meet and greet the other attendees, although they might not have travelled as far as those from Denmark, they still made the trek from all over the UK including Surrey, Kent, and the Highlands of Scotland to name but a few places.                                          The atmosphere was ama...

Easter Egg Run 2023

                                        EASTER EGG RUN 2023    Cumbria WSMBA Easter egg run started on Monday 27th March with a run out to the James Rennie school where nearly 200 eggs and a cheque was donated to their inclusive playground fund, the chapter treasurer Denis Noble accompanied by his lovely wife Sylvia, the VP Eric Baty and myself Mike Turner (President). A stunning day out to support an amazing school who do so much for the exceptional children that can't attend a more standard school.  But Sunday was the big run, starting at 9am in Cockermouth, before heading over to the Carlisle area to pick up the eggs and remaining WS members. 13 WS, 1 brother from a local lodge, Provincial support from our APGM Ian St.John Darcy & PCO Neil Dixon, wives and partners all gathered in Dalston for the big ride.  Our first stop was Cumberland Infirmary where we donate...
